Passport photos, Pasila

I need to get some new mug shots, i remember there was a camera shop at Pasila station. Is it still there? Do they do on the spot passport photos? Or, is there anywhere else in Pasila that offers this service?

There is a fotoyks just across from Pasila police station. I've never had my pictures done there but according to their website, it takes about 10-15 minutes:

Mmmm, the 2nd tip is more expensive but more convenient....can i afford to blow €1.50 in these recessionary times. :D

Thanks for your help.

I still can't believe it costs nearly €20 to get some pictures.

Ha ha, yeah, those were the good old days. :) I had my first passport picture taken in a sporting goods store, though, not in a photo booth.

Good luck getting your pictures. Next time I think it might be fotoyks for me, I can just stop in on the way to the police station.

There are passport photo booths in Rautatientori. I have used them for my last passport photos and driving licence etc

I usually go to these booths, or just ask a friend to take passport photos.
Most, if not all, photo shops in downtown are rip off with appalling customer service. There is this photo shop in forum (can't remember the name) where I went last time. The old fella took my photos, I wasn't satisfied so I asked if he can do it again. The guy had expressions on his face like he grew a giant wart in his royal rectum.

The photo service in verkkokauppa.com is cheap. I was satisfied with the result, and the guy was a sweetheart. Not sure if they are doing it anymore.
