Well, in principle if you're exporting it there shouldn't be taxes - but mind the car can't be driven about but transported on a trailer. Of course as you can't have it in Finnish registry there is no paperwork available it is your car - other than what the Italian seller provides you...
But really, this does sound somewhat silly - why would you have someone drive all the way from *Italy* when theres cheaper/easily accessable cars in Germany or the Baltics??? Seriously? Are you sure you're not being scammed out of your money? By all signals if you paid in advance, your money is already in Africa, as is the car, if it ever existed...

Thanks for the response..
I haven't paid yet as the seller said i can pay when he brings the car.it was his decision to bring the car to Finland even without any charges for me.
I also wonder why he would want to do that because i wanted it shipped directly from Italy to Africa.
i have a plan but don't know if it works here..
Since he will drive it to my address i want to ask him to drive it directly to the shipping agency in Finland that will send it to Africa..so that i wouldn't have to transport it...
Do you think this can work?
Thanks

Maybe see if he'll send you a picture of the VIN so you can "get the vehicle history"...
