Based on your description, I assume that your employer is a Finnish company. If you stay in Finland at most that 6 months, you are paying 35% tax after some deductions. See details here. http://www.vero.fi/en-US/Individuals/Ar ... and(17634)
If you stay in Finland more than 6 months, then you are taxed as anyone here and you can to use the calculator. You seem to have used the 2012 tax calculator, so the information there is outdated. Here is a link to the 2013 calculator. http://prosentti.vero.fi/VPL2013/Sivut/ ... iedot.aspx
It is already August, so you don't have time to work the full 6 months during this year, and because the taxation might change for 2014, the amount told by the calculator is not 100% correct. Note also that if your 6 months working period is divided to two calendar years, you need to do two calculations, one for 2013, one for 2014, depending on how many months you work in each year.
And, one more thing, if your monthly salary is 2200€, then the annual salary is not 12*2200€ but 2200€ * the number of months you work in that calendar year. If you work the whole 6 months in 2014, your annual salary is 6*2200€ = 13200€, and your tax percentage will be significantly lower than in your original calculation above.

Thanks for clearing that up!priki wrote:Based on your description, I assume that your employer is a Finnish company. If you stay in Finland at most that 6 months, you are paying 35% tax after some deductions. See details here. http://www.vero.fi/en-US/Individuals/Ar ... and(17634)
So basically my salary will cover barely only my living expanses if i'm going for 6 months?
So, €2200(My monthly salary) - €510(lähdeverovähennys; källskatteavdrag) = €1690
€1690 - €592( -35%) = €1098/month
So, I'll end up with around €1098/month after all tax deductions?

No, you are doing your maths wrong.imvasyl wrote:Thanks for clearing that up!priki wrote:Based on your description, I assume that your employer is a Finnish company. The calculation is 2200€ - (2200€-510€)*35% = 2200€ - 1690€*35% = 2200€ - 591,5€ = 1608,5€.
At least this is how I understood it... please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds more like it.
You want to fix your tax card so that the % doesn't go too much over, because you then need to wait for the tax return for one year - and keep the bank account and inform it to them so you get your money.
