We need some advice from this forum. We purchased an apartment 2 months ago and now we found a defect in the apartment related with the floor.
It may potentially cost a lot to fix it. Does anyone have similar experiences and as far as I understood legally the seller needs to fix the defect, is it so?
Thanks a lot!
M.

As I understand it you need to carefully read the "Kuntotarkastus". If it isnt somehow listed in there, you need to make a written thing to the seller. Probably best to see some sort of lawyer about that one, I guess. But, in the first case, see if the kuntotarkastus says anything.
But what shall it profit a people if they satisfy all material desires, but leave for their children nothing, only a wasteland.

Apartment, so most likely no kuntotarkastus done.
Was the fault hidden when you inspected the apartment?
