Native English-speaking job seeker in need of work

Post by cmczech » Wed Nov 13, 2013 3:49 pm

Hello,

Like many of the people on this site, I too am looking for work in Finland. My experience has been pretty diverse - I've done everything from work as a journalist, dishwashing, marketing and even factory work. I have a degree in International Relations and CELTA qualification. At the moment I'm trying to find work immediately, so that I'm able to stay with my partner in Jyväskylä, but I'm willing to work anywhere. If anyone has any leads, I'd very much appreciate the help.

Here's an old video of me, if anyone is particularly interested in knowing if I'm real lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJW2GY3qAs0

Thanks,
Chris

redundant
rɪˈdʌnd(ə)nt/
adjective
adjective: redundant

1.
not or no longer needed or useful; superfluous.
What is not needed? The job offer in another part of Finland?

I believe he meant:

re·dun·dant
adjective \ri-ˈdən-dənt\

: repeating something else and therefore unnecessary

in reference to people helping him if he has any leads.

Did you try https://tekmil.com/index.php/en/people/careercontact

Their website is a trifle clunky and slow and dull, but they seem to be one of the biggest TEFL providers in Finland at the moment, so they must be doing something right.

Hey guys, thanks for the useful links. When I said "redundant" I just meant that there's a lot of posts of the same sort, and that I was sorry I was adding to them. Anyways, I really appreciate the help. Please keep the help coming :) It'll save me from the flight back to the US :)
