Real Christmas Tree
Does anyone know about how much a real Christmas tree costs in the Helsinki region? Does anyone know where we could find one for cheap?

Average on both sides of 50 euros according to this article from a couple years back:

I have no ideas on what the best place to buy them is. Seems you can also order online (search for joulukuusi).

They are sold from pop-ups on street corners, in malls and car parks etc usually the weekend before Christmas.
Don't try taking a real Christmas Tree indoors too early: Finnish homes are so dry and warm in winter the tree will shed all its needles before Christmas arrives. If you do buy one more than a week before Christmas then stand it in a large bucket of water and keep watering it while it's indoors.
