“You’re important (to me).”

Said by someone who sincerely thinks your existence or presence matters.

"Oot tärkee" looks almost exactly like "oot törkee" but the meaning is entirely different.

FINNSPELL on "törkee": http://www2.lingsoft.fi/cgi-bin/finspell?word=t%F6rkee

(informal, colloquial spelling/pronunciation) Oot tärkee = (standard spelling/pronunciation) Olet tärkeä

The verb olla (“to be”) from standard expressions to colloquial:

(minä) olen = (mä) oon
(sinä) olet = (sä) oot
(hän) on = (se) on
(me) olemme = (me) ollaan / oomme
(te) olette = (te) ootte
(he) ovat = (ne) on
