Saw these Finnish tougue-twisters on Wikipedia, I wonder it you would like to have a go at them.

Good sentences, all of them!

One caught my eye, namely this:

Intention to spend a wedding night

You may say it's the word with more successive vowels than any other word, but it's not. I recently suggested on IS Keskustelufoorumi that the word could be hääyöaieuutinen, but somebody came up with a longer one, which is HÄÄYÖAIEOIONTA ("correction of an intention of spending a wedding night).

Don't worry, I'm was born in Finland as a finn and raised there but can't pronounce the right "H" anymore
My Vihreä sounds like "Wichree" - with the german "ch" and "r", and I have problems with the "eä" (or any vowels combination). My husband and I were just yesterday driving car and practicing "h" with the word Huuhkaja

That should be "Älä rääkkää tätä koiraa!". If someone says that to you, you can say "En minä rääkkääkään" ( But I am not tormenting it )

There is one called Alfapet, but we dont think it has the right balance of letters for Finnish even though it is meant for it. Another good game is Alias.

Sanna, I've studied German for so many years that I guess I say the same virhe/vihreä "ch" sound as you say it. I never thought about it but yes, I think it's a good way to pronunce it!
No problem with my "R" though: I think I can roll it better than a Finnish as it is very close to the Italian one...

Heh, that's why I can roll my "R" better than all my German friends (I don't speak Italian, though, but in Bavaria you just hear it often - especially if you like italian food )

Kääkkä = old crone/ old person
kääkättää = a cawing noise ~ usually said about laughing

Dont torment the old crone, you old-crone-tormentor. I am not tormenting the old crone. Stop cawing at me about tormenting of old crones.
