Hi all,
I am moving to Finland for a whole year to perform a postdoc stay in the University of Helsinki. I've received european funds, but the contract is made via my university in Barcelona - Spain, so as far as I know I will have no liason with any finnish institution.
I've learned that I will pay the taxes in Finland, so somehow I will need to take care to avoid double taxes. But I am not able to decipher where I have to pay the Social Security and thus which health coverage I will have in Finland.
If any of you have experience on that -basically, to work in Finland but your employer is from abroad- I would be very thankful with any tip about this issue.
Cheers!
David
