Hello,
I am a Japanese student, female.
I am going to Helsinki during my vacation, and I'm planning to take a day trip to Stockholm on Viking Line on 25 or 26 of February.
The Line's website says the tickets are available from 20 EUR/person.
However, I found out that it is only possible to book the whole cabin, either a 80 EUR one for 4 people, or a 60 EUR one for 3.
It seems unreasonable to book the whole cabin for only one person, and sleep in a room with 2 or 3 other empty beds...
I thought if there are any other people in the similar situation, maybe we can share the cabin : )
So if anyone happens to be planning a cruise trip to Stockholm on Feb. 25 or 26, please contact me!

Web page seems to indicate that those are nowadays only available in June-August?roger_roger wrote:While I am travelling alone I just buy the ticket for the deck and roam around the Cruise.

Deck tickets would be excellent, I have traveled a lot on Japanese night buses (which are anything but comfortable, with announcement of the stops and turning on the lights every 2 hours), so I don't mind sit-sleeping at all. But yes, there seem to be no deck tickets now - I couldn't find any information about them on the website.
Instead, there is one thing I found out there: there is an age limit of 21 for the cruise tickets! I am 19 at present, so I seem to have no choice but to book two route tickets.

Anyway, thanks for your help and info ^^

Oh, I never imagined that plane tickets could be cheaper than ferry ones, but they actually are!roger_roger wrote:
Haven't travelled via cruise for long, its much easier and cheaper by plane while travelling alone.
I now booked a flight with 4 nights in Stockholm.
Thank you!

There is bit of extra to be paid to get from Arlanda to city center (right?), but yeah, I guess those ships are of only limited limited interest for those who just want to travel (without a car) from place A to B.

Yeah Arlanda Airport is quite far from the center, which I didn't know)
The bus called Flygbussarna seems to be the most inexpensive way to get to the city from Arlanda...
Or are there any other ways??
