Hi, I am moving to Finland this summer i dont have a lot of things to bring with me, however I do have my cat.

Does anyone know trusted places to send her with and pricing?

It's not impossible to get the cat over here, but you have to follow the rules really carefully to avoid problems.

There is always a particular de-worming medication that must be given, but I cannot locate the information on the website yet. At least from Canada, we had to do this. Also, do NOT go through the UK, either fly direct to Helsinki from USA, or make the connection in Frankfurt, Germany. The UK has this insane quarantine rules, do not risk it.

quarantine rules do not apply when you r animal is transiting, I think heathrow is quite pet friendly

The UK's rules have relaxed a lot (since Jan 2012) to harmonise with EU regulations. And they shouldn't apply anyway for transit, as mentioned - but you should check, at a minimum with the airline, if you're going that way.

However, the regulations (which should be about the same in FI) are still very strict. Read carefully!

Yes I am moving from the US to Finland I'm just seeing what shots and things I need to do with my car before I can send her either with me or I was thinking sending her a week before I go
