Bachelors in Physical Therapy
Bachelors in Physical Therapy
I'm planning ahead for my educational plan. I'm an American looking to transfer to Finland for a Bachelors in Physical Therapy. My plan is to do my A.A in the states and then transfer to Finland for my B.A. My questions are 1. How could I obtain the information to find out what classes I could take now and transfer over and 2. After everything is a go hypothetically, how would I go about transferring?
Re: Bachelors in Physical Therapy
Being accepted on a course in the USA does not give you any right to transfer to a course in Finland. To get on a university course in Finland you need to apply as any other student would: www.admissions.fi
Once you have secured a place, you may be able to transfer some credits under the AHOT (Recognition of Prior Learning) schemes that operate in the unversity. Basically this is a negotiation between you and your Study Counsellor and other members of the teaching staff, and it takes place after you have enrolled and confirmed your study place.
For EU students there are other possibilities such as ERASMUS exchange programmes. I guess there are similar schemes with non-EU countries but I am not famliar with them.
