Yeah, just curious, since it seems to vary a lot.

1. How long did you wait for your first residence permit to be granted?
2. Did you apply in Finland or abroad? (Which country?)
3. On which grounds (family, work, study...) did you apply?

1. Mine took 6 weeks from application to residence permit card in my hand
2. I applied abroad, in the US
3. Family ties (spouse is Finnish)

No. But they must register their right of residence.

1st April 2014
Location : Finland
Status: pending

, the sponsor is Finnish Citizen. Any one could give us hint if in similar situation, e.g., if already got a decision or still pending !!
From Migri website; there are more than 2000 applications in the queue, does this also include Finnish citizen family member ?

I applied it at the end of February 2014 in Finland for RP based on family ties(spouse of a Finnish citizen)
I am still waiting!

I have no idea when will I get. I've called a few times to the police and the answer is only to wait.
I really hope to get soon.

Migri is processing the application NOT police
