Re: Helsinki standard of living with 2400eur gross salary
if a gross salary of 2400 eur is sufficient for one person to live comfortable in Helsinki. It allows a good living standard for one person?
It does , you can save money too!

I guess you could try some online purchasing power parity (PPP) comparisons to see to what kind of sum it compares in a country you're familiar with, but yes, a single person should manage with that quite fine. Eating and drinking out are pretty expensive here though.

Should be all right unless you start feeding your mule with 100-euro notes dipped in cumin liquor...

Learn to cook before you arrive
You can live in less than 1k if you're frugal and don't party too much in bars. Equally, you can also spend your full salary if you eat and drink out, wish to live alone in a nice location and take other small luxuries.

Yup.sing the online simulators I saw that this will give a net salary of about 1900 eur/month. Can someone confirm this?
