Hei,
I will be transferring to Finland in late June for work. I have my residency permit ready to be submitted as soon as my contract is signed. I was wondering if I will be able to submit my residency permit at an honorary consulate (preferably in Dallas) or if this must be submitted at the Embassy or Consulate (NY or LA).
The migri.fi website mentions that residency permits must be submitted to an embassy, but I have seen other sites that mention consulates are OK as well.
http://www.migri.fi/services/how_to_use_the_service
If anyone has already been through this experience I would appreciate some help with clarifying this.
Thanks!
Any US citizens here who are now working in Finland?
