I am planning to relocate to Finland so I am looking for a job there. I come from the Czech Republic, where a person with my experience (6 years in development, 2 years in project management) just contacts an agent and gets couple job offers almost right away. He doesn't even need to speak Czech.
Unfortunately, I haven't had this experience with Finland so far. I tried contacting agents, replied to job offers, sent couple open applications (in English), but got no responses. Even the agents don't seem to be interested. Is it a low demand, is it me not knowing Finnish, or is there just a different way to get a job in software development field in Finland?

There is of course low demand after the Canadian ruined Nokia.

most jobs are found by personal networking. And yes the market is saturated with the Nokia lay-offs.
