SETA Ry: Sexuality, cultures and identity

Hi!

We are interested in hearing people's point of views about
homosexuality and how you find it in Finland and in your former or main
home land?
And how was your sexuality being taken into notice in the asylum seeking
and nationalship etc. processes, or was it all ?
Have you found proper and satisfactory professional help to your problems in partnership or within family?
How did you find it to 'come out' if you did it ?
What kind of assistance or information you would like to have concerning homosexual identity?

We are planning to hold a seminar about the issue. It would be a
gathering and open discussion of people from social, health care and immigration work in Finland.

Seminar would be an expansion to SETA work in Finland.
SETA ry is the national association for lgbt (lesbian, gay, bi and trans) -people of Finland. It stands for 'sexual equility' and is also a human rights
organization.

We'd like to hear experiences of homosexual people from all over the
globe and its cultures and societies and combine this information to the
work of the organization.

This would be an opening to discussion of Finland with its many cultures, values and ways of living.
