What kind of umbrella company you mean? You can get some kind of an idea with this calculator:

However, if you own a limited liability company yourself, taking a salary is not the only way to distribute money out of the company and there are more parameters than presented in the above calculator.

I know the calculator calculates taxes based on income. ..however if you are paying to yourself (through a payroll company or having your own limited company)..for example if you are working as a contractor...then you also have to pay the social security, pension and other taxes..and I want to calculate those too..so I want to know that after deducting all these, how much will be my take home

Another question is that if you work as contractor, Is it mandatory to setup your own limited company, or can you pay all the taxes without setting up your own company? For example through a payroll or umbrella company?
