First day I got the car, it made contact with the pillar in our parking building. The damage is relatively big I would say: it has a dent and a couple of scratches on one side. Here is what it looks like
Since my car insurance (from Pohjola) doesn't cover parking damage, I have to pay myself. So does anyone know a cheap repair shop? I searched online and many people say it can easily cost over 1000e in Finland. The car itself only costed me 2500 so I don't know what should I do. I plan to drive it for only this winter when I am working in Helsinki. Should I repair it at all?
Cheap metal sheet repair in Helsinki?

My non-legal advice: Since the damage is only cosmetic and it doesn't cause any operational issues (of any sort), and you're only gonna drive it for 5 months, don't bother fixing it.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

Go to Estonia. Even with a ferry ticket it will be still much cheaper than in helsinki . Of course you would have to go twice , but still.... Check shops there
What do you want from me?????

A friend runs a car repair workshop & car hire business near Helsinki. He takes all bodywork jobs to Estonia because it is cheaper than having his own employees do the work.

Well, on the bright side, at least now you don't have worry about small scratches...

I will check and try to make some calls at first. I asked several garages in Helsinki and they all said at least 1000 euros.

Hi,
As I had got the case with welding jobs then I knew the workshop it can do this job in Riihimäki around 80kms from Helsinki.
If you are interesting in it drop me your email so I drop the phone number for you to contact him.
I hope he can help you with it the reasonable price.
Good luck and Happy new year.
