Is there mold problem in Finland?

My Swedish neighbor is giving me some tips on life in Finland etc and she happened to mention that there is mold problem in most places . I just searched online and came across this article http://homepakolaiset.fi/in_english.html. Is it the case ?

and you think they just talk !"#¤% out of a thin air? There's truth in it. They are mold refugees group, so they might present you a grim picture so as to further their cause but that's just my suspicion. TL;DR

Yeah we have mold issues. These homes are sealed up to keep the heat in at winter and no air circulation causes mold, especially with showers and all. It sucks and is a big problem here. Crack a window to vent out the bathroom after a shower has helped us.

Mould can be a problem, here as well as everywhere. Trust your nose.

As for Swedish friend saying that there is mold in most places in Finland... I have Finnish friends that swear that most Swedish males are gay. ;)

Mould can be a real problem, depends on the scale of the problem. Indoor air quality can be a major health factor, not just mould but humidity, etc. We have a whole research division in this area, which swears that a huge amount of workplace health related problems are linked to air quality.
