How much this crime could effect our citizenship?

Hello,

There was one crime occurred unintentionally. Once I went to Sello's Prisma alone. I bought some food stuffs alone in Prisma. Then I met my wife in the common place. She wanted to buy other stuffs from Citymarket and she used the same shopping cart where I had all the items already bought from Prisma. During that time I had to go to toilet. So she decided to go to Citymarket alone. She mixed up the items which were bought from Prisma earlier. So few unpaid items were remained in the shopping cart. While we were packing the items, security guard asked us to verify all the items and found those unpaid items. It was really a shocking matter for both of us. As it was unintentional. Later It was reported to police and we got penalty for this stupid mistake.

She accepted her offence right away to the police officer. Anyway police gave penalty for both of us. She paid her penalty. But I appealed for it. Later I got decision that I'm not guilty. So I didn't need pay that penalty. By the way it happen in January, 2013.

So how much does this crime effects my wife's citizenship application? Is there anyway to check officially crime history? How long will it be visible or counted? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!
