No. You need to be Finnish afaik. But ask the same question from regional office, they should know better. You can find the contact information from mil.fi

Correct. My friend was told the same. The only exception, he said, is in times of war when a foreign national is deemed trustworthy and possess exceptional skill and knowledge that are needed for strategic purposes, they can temporarily serve. I couldn't find anything online about that, so it's all anecdotal.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

You have to be a Finnish citizen to join the Defence forces. Currently if you are married or in a registered partnership with a Finnish citizen, and you reside in Finland for at least 4 years etc...then you can apply for Finnish citizenship.

Yes, you can but not right now. You are 22 y/o so still some years are left in you. Register your relationship, stay in Finland and get your citizenship in some four years. Then you will be ready to give it a try.

You need to be a Finnish citizen. As for the language to get the citizenship, either Finnish or Swedish is fine. As for the army, the command language is Finnish, but in Dragsvik its relatively Swedish otherwise.

And you do realise you are joining up for conscript service and not a career army?

I don't think dual citizenship is a problem for military service, at least UK citizenship doesn't seem to be a barrier. My eldest was invited to the Utti Jaeger Regiment selection (but missed out on a place by one point) and my youngest is going for the selection next month. That's a 12 month stint in the special forces if he's accepted. My other son did twelve months in the military police. Some of the units set IQ/logic tests as part of the selection process, so you probably need reasonable Finnish for that.
