While filling the citizenship application, if a field does not apply to me, should I leave it blank, or will it be considered incomplete application in that case?
For example, in the following section, if my answer to the first question is "Ei", do I still need to answer the next question, or can I leave it blank?
Thanks.

For all these applications, you have to keep in mind that there's an actual human being looking at the application. They're not assessed by a computer algorithm that checks the fields and that's it. So, on that case, it makes perfect sense to answer the first one with "Ei" and leave the next one empty.
Your application will not be considered incomplete.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

You can also cross that part of the page with a long line with your pen.

Or answer no as you don't have payment plan nor need for one.

In our family we've left blank the non applicable parts. For me it seems the most logical option, and has worked so far..
I can't see it matters as long as you don't tick "yes" there.

Thanks everyone. I have another question. Do I need to submit my passport with the citizenship application? If yes, does it mean that a person cannot travel during the processing of the application?

If I recall correctly, you only submit a copy and they check the original at the service point, then they give it back to you.
