Finnish citizen, working in Sweden, income tax?

Post by somequest » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:28 pm

Still living in Finland. The income tax was directly paid to Sweden by the employer. Need to do anything in Finland (tax report, etc)? How about when unemployed and retired, from where to get payment?

If you are resident in Finland then yes you have to delcare your income in Finland. Whether it is taxed or not is a different matter (where the work was carried out etc).

If it is taxed in Finland of course you can claim back the tax in Sweden.
