No unemployment money

Hi,
i was temporarily unemplyed (lomautettu), it started on 10th of April. Employer said that it lasts for 4-5 weeks. I got the paperwork from my employer, went to Kela, explained my situation. The woman said that i have to wait for 2 weeks and then go to Kela's webpage, fill the form (for receiving unemployment money), she added that meanwhile (the same day) go to TE toimisto webpage and fill the form that you are a jobseeker. Then i asked her why do i need to look for a new job if i am going to continue in 4-5 weeks. She said that you are looking for a job for this couple of weeks. Anyway i filled the TE toimisto jobseekr form and sent it, didn't get any error or anything, after 2 weeks i went to Kela webpage and tried to fill the form there but in the end it didn't let to send it and there was a text about waiting for a week before sending (omavastuuaika). Anyway, i went back to Kela, after explaining my situation to a new woman she said that they haven't received information from TE toimisto that i have fulfilled the form from there. Then i filled the paperwork there again, added my last payslip and put it in the post.

No i received their answer:

I understand that i am not eligible for the unemployment money because i was not looking for a full time work. I checked that i look for short term work.
Why is that wrong?

It seems you are not looking for short term job, you are looking for part time job. Beggars can't be choosers.

Go back and see Kela. Hopefully they can fix it in the computer while you're there, but I suspect you will have to lodge an appeal explaining the situation. I'm afraid these things are not very fast.

But kela would still get the info from TE that op isn't looking for full time job. So I would start with them and make sure I'm looking a job, any kind, any length.

You should be able to see your information in the TE-web service if you used that. If they filled it onsite, it might also show up in there. Otherwise you can request TE-toimisto to send your information to you (tarkastuspyyntö).

I don't think those two terms make a difference.

Well, i wrote to TE-toimisto and explained that i made a mistake due to a language barrier. No futher questions were asked. Couple of days ago i received the paperwork from TE Toimisto and Kela which stated that i will receive the money. One finnish man filled the form on kela webpage and today i received the money.
