Student Residence Permit Interview

Post by praneeth » Thu May 21, 2015 3:47 am

Hey Guys,
I am wondering if someone can share their experiences of visiting Finland embassy for the purpose of obtaining biometric student residence permit. I am curious to know your experience in the embassy, the waiting time in queue, how long the interview took place, what documents were asked & reviewed, biometrics fingerprinting process, etc. Cheers!!

In which country?

I'm sure they aren't all the same.

They verify your identity, check the oroginal docs, and then scan your fingerprints. Easy.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

Non-EU citizens has to go through this process i.e., book an appointment at Finland Embassy, take all the original documents (education documents, availability of funds proof/bank statement, health insurance document, work experience documents if any) for verification, answer any questions that officer may have in regards to your residence permit application, take biometric finger printing, etc., but I don't know how it goes for EU citizens to apply for student residence permit.
