Waiting For Residence Permit for studies

Hi everyone in the house...I recently applied for my residence permit and I notice the application status has not changed to being process after visiting the embassy in july. I have been on que for 3weeks now. Its like the migri people are on break (am not sure, just saying how it seems). If there others waiting for residence permit, pls drop comments... we can share informations here...let's know how long you have been waiting and if supplement have been asked from u...

Thanks for the comment tummansininen. Waiting for the RP processing gives a lot of worry...when you don't have an idea what the out come will be...and travel time is near

Sure, worrying is natural. But if you dotted your i's (fulfill all the requirements, eg. money, insurance, study place) and crossed your t's (wrote all the aforementioned in your application) you'll get your permit.

Hello....after a long time....migri has initiated the process of my application.... And they sent mail for supplementary documents....

I need help and advice on what I can do next.......am confuse ....
I have been denied an residence permit again base on unreliable proof of funds....
This is my second application and I have been denied again...
What can I do To prove funds are available for me...

It looks like you did the same as your first application. Money in the bank, but no solid explanation for it.
Since many students borrow money for the application and pay it back soon after a positive decision, migri is nowadays very critical on how you got the money. No good explanation means rejection.
If you think the decision is unfair and you can prove the money is yours (not a loan) you can appeal.

Indeed. It doesn't look like you're doing something you're not supposed to do. Fix that, then appeal.

Obviously....I accept I must be doing something wrong....but the funds are available for me and am trying my best to prove it available. .. How do I go about appealing my case....what steps do I need to take To appeal? How do I file my appeal applications correctly.... What will it cost me. ??????

The appeal procedure instructions are included in the same decision letter you received.
Proving the origin of the money is simply showing where it came from. Savings over the years? Some bonuses at work? Your family? They need to be sure you're not gonna put the money in your account and then return it once the RP is granted. In my opinion, this is what you're planning to do. FIX THAT and then appeal.

Thanks.....the attachment for the appeal is in Finnish....so I can't say exactly say the procedur .... I tried translating it but since it will not give a good interpretation, I don't understand it. So I just feel Someone that has gone through it can put me truogh .

is there any point appealing a third time? You didn't satisfy them last time, so unless something has changed, there is no point.

To the best of my knowledge, I tried to do all am required to do. The money was suppose to me in my account and not someone else . and I tried to provide all the backing up documents .

Also...I have never appealed before.I applied last year September , the decision took 5 months , then I reapplied this year in July.

I feel I didn't make any mistake as I did everything the best way I think I should do it, according to what I read on migri.fi
And this is the reason why I think I should appeal the decision because....there is also no document requested that I didn't not present....
Questions
Do I need new documents if I want to appeal or facts will only be based on existing documents ?
How much will it cos me as side the 300 euros written ijbthe attachment ?.
Will I use a lawyer here in my own country or I have to use a lawyer from Helsinki.?

Oh my god! Are you dyslexic or something? I told you this:

Merely having it in your account is not enough! You know what you're doing, and I know what you're doing. So let's cut this and say it as it is. You've borrowed money from some people to put in your account for the residence permit. Many people do that; you're not the first and you won't be the last. FIX THAT and then appeal.

@adnan thank you....I understand u completely .....also, am thinking if I caN move my funds to finland since Vaasa uas gave me a chance to open an account from here and transfer my funds to the account in finland.....will that help in any way....can I reapply for the permit with that....or should I appeal with that.... Does it make more sense??

@tummanisinen....thank you....am working on pasting it for you to see.....but technically....the funds were given to me by my uncle....its not my personal savings. ......so proved it origin by presenting documents from my uncle.
