Your English doesn't suck, so you probably can do it by simply reading the books and answering sample questions online. There are many blogs and posts online about it.
This is what I did when I took the exam TOEFL.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

IELTS is way more popular in Finland and there are plenty of prep courses available eg at Finn Brit and also Helsingin Aikuisopisto

I'm looking to apply to Harvard, Stanford and other US schools. I need TOEFL for these institutions.
