You are more likely to find them at a farmers' market. For example REKO is very active in your area. Try joining one of their Facebook groups to find out when they meet.

I have seen fresh faba beans down here (I call them broad beans) - I even grew some myself. But the season is over now.
Härkäpavut? Faba beans?
Re: Härkäpavut? Faba beans?
it's not impossible to find härkäpapu in a supermarket, but unlikely.
as always, the bigger the store is (prisma, citymarket), the higher the chance is.
definitely not in lidl or halpahalli.
but you might get luckier trying the organic stores, either small ones (farms, basically) or some sort of ruohonjuuri in the next bigger town...
hmm, i just seem to remember there was an eco community in ähtäri... if my mind doesn't deceive me...

There are roughly two forms of härkäpapuja that you may find.. the types they sell for people's food and the type that is used for animal feed, for protein. So you may want to find out which type you're buying.
It is very likely that AgriMarket sells the cheaper (and less clean) type of härkäpapu that is meant for animal feed for protein feed; for example, for sheep, pigs, chickens etc. Mainly because AgriMarket is generally a large shop for all things related to farming, animal keeping, building, etc., from farming equipment to pesticides, from metal bars to bovine feed; i.e. it is not a food market/shop or ruokakauppa.

I've found härkäpapu here on west coast in the largest markets, and some farms sell it directly, too.

For example there ^ you can see the two price ranges for animal feed (40kg sacks for protein feed, valkuaisrehuksi) and the 'cleaned härkäpapu' for people, Puhdistettua Härkäpapua kotitalouksille.
You could search for farms closer to you in http://www.avoinmaaseutu.fi (in Finnish)
