Part-time Nanny / Housekeeper in Lauttasaari

Post by jpp » Sun Nov 15, 2015 1:16 pm

We are a family of 3 (9yr old daughter) and we are expecting a baby girl in January 2016. We are looking for someone to help us take care of our children/home starting Jan/Feb 2016. The job will initially be 6-10hours a week, but this could increase to 15-25hours a week by March or April if we find the right person. We are looking for a responsible and experienced person - someone that either has experience in caring for children or that has their own children (or grandchildren) and has looked after very small babies. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual. We are a non-smoking household and would want a non-smoker. We have a small, friendly and hypo-allergenic dog - if you do not like dogs, then this might not be for you.

Your responsibilities will include:
Looking after the baby and her needs.
Picking up our daughter from school
Preparing snacks/food for the children
Playing games with our daughter
Taking our dog out for a short walk
Some cleaning and general housekeeping

In return, you will be treated as one of the family. The children's grandparents do not live nearby and so we would love to provide them an extended family member. We speak English in our house, but we are fine with Finnish as well.

If you are interested, please write to us at jamesprasad7@yahoo.com with the following details:
1. A little bit about who you are
2. Your residence status in Finland
3. Your experience with children
4. Your salary expectation

We welcome any questions you might have about the job - you can write to us at the same email address.

Thanks and regards,

Marianne and James
