Toimeentulotuen Jatkohakemus

Post by Piet » Mon Dec 14, 2015 4:03 pm

I was just giving someone some advise about how to get help from social office and she needed a continuation form for her social welfare assistance allowance (or whatever the English name would be).

But.. to my astonishment, the whole form seems to have disappeared from the Internet (for ESPOO!!), she is not so tech-savvy as most people nowadays but it seems that in the City of Espoo one can only apply for continuation of these benefits on-line (need the bank codes to log in). The form that used to be available for download seems to be unavailable on-line nowadays (521003.pdf) all references on-line seem to be deleted (not working links).

Does anybody know where to download this form for printing purposes (the only other option of getting it would be going to the social office building and get a paper version there).

You will make a young women her life easier (read less stressed by forced tech stuff) if you can get a link for this (otherwise I will scan the form for her somewhere... no scanner here  )

If god would give us the source code, we could change the world

It seems like the form here could be used:

No, it is not there... at least I did not find it there, I found that place too, it used to be there for download but it is no more... all others are but not the one for Toimeentulotuen Jatkohakemus

[rant]
It is my impression that Social office wants to get rid of the paperwork, so they give you the possibility to renew your "hakemus" online since (I think) 2-2014 and they want everyone to start using that now by removing the download option for the paper form. Just another extra barrier for people to claim the support they are (by law) entitled to.

This country is worse and more worse to the really poor people among us. At the same time more and more people are being sacked and more and more of those people get less and less. I am just waiting to see what happens when more than half of this country is really poor (now 55% is still considered rich...well at least not poor).[/rant]

Anyway, if someone needs to download this form, just click and download these pictures and print them, they are scans of the original:

This Finnish text implies the first form can be used for both first time and renewals:

"Jos haet toimeentulotukea ensimmäistä kertaa tai jos asumisessasi, perhesuhteessasi, perheenjäsenissä tai varallisuustilanteessasi on tapahtunut muutoksia sen jälkeen, kun olet edellisen kerran hakenut toimeentulotukea, täytä lisäksi perustietolomake."

It might be useful to know that using their forms is not required. You could equally well write down the information to a blank A4.

Thanks betelgeuse (was a fun movie by the way  )

The person I was searching this for, is very rusted in her habits, so she needed the exact same form as she used to use. She does not want to fill in the 4 page form (the one you are referring to) as it is not as straight forward to her as the 2 page form (and yes she is blond Image). But anyway thanks for the info, it is good to know if I need something in the future from them (I sincerely doubt they will ever give me anything  ).
