Shipping a computer+monitor to Italy

Post by hatuko » Mon Dec 28, 2015 1:16 pm

Hi! I need to send a computer and a monitor to Italy, but Posti won't do it because of the battery they say. Is there a courier or anyway another company/service you could suggest/recommend I try? Many thanks in advance.

Why not take the battery out?

Seem like these days removal of the CMOS battery will only reset system clock, not even wipe BIOS settings....

Sorry for being a smart ass....

but i think you're right.
anyhow that was my first thought anyway.

btw, there was recently a long thread here on these forums about a guy taking a computer on the airplane.
not quite the same situation, but there were many suggestions. might be worth finding it.
