studyinfo.fi site

Post by 12w » Sun Feb 07, 2016 8:27 am

Hi,

I wonder how to log into studyinfo.fi, since I don't have any sort of identification from Finland, do I have to go there and apply at the police? I have a finnish passport but I was born and have lived in Sweden all my life, so I don't have anything else. How do people outside of EU apply, since it seems like the only way is to apply through studyinfo.fi?

Thank you

You don't have to log in to fill in the application form.

The "My Studyinfo" account is more like an additional service for registered users, than a requirement to apply.

Cryptic:

How to apply in joint application

In Studyinfo you can see most of the universities’ and polytechnics’/UAS’ degree programmes offered in English. You can access the application form from each programme. Please note that you can apply online without registering.

Fill in the application form
N. B. No registration is needed for filling in the application form. You do not have to log in. Just open the form and start.
Fill in the application form step by step. The application service will guide and help you through the process to make sure that you fill in all the information correctly.

But I guess the joint application for this autumn 2016 is already closed and for spring 2017 not yet open. There might be some "separate applications" (ie direct to the UAS) which are still open.
