Hi, would anybody know where I can buy a car glass repair kit and/or those patches to put on the windscreen to prevent cracks from getting bigger? I tried the usual suspects, Bilthema and Motonet, but surprisingly they don't have those.
I found an online shop that has the repair kit and ships from Lahti, but if I can get it myself in the Helsinki/Espoo area I would be happier.
Thanks!

Hi!
I suggest you let professionals to fix the windscreen for you. No need to invest in your own equipment.
- You can also get stickers to put on the cracks as first-aid, so that rainwater won't destroy the repair job to be done later.
There are several companies doing repairs of glass cracks. Google with "tuulilasin korjaus".
I have used Carglass in Kerava - but they have repair shops in many places in the Helsinki region and elsewhere in Southern Finland.
... Helsinki – Herttoniemi, Helsinki – Konala, Vantaa – Tikkurila, Kerava, Raisio – Turku, Rauma – Ihode, Kaarina - Turku, Tampere, Raisio – Turku, Rauma – Ihode, Kaarina - Turku, Tampere.

Thanks for your answer! The fix-it-yourself set is not new equipment, it's just a little set for about 15 Euro with the stuff for one repair, it's rather easy to use. If the car was a bit newer I would invest into a proper repair, but it's really not worth putting any more money into it, close to its 18th birthday.Keravalainen wrote:Hi!

Still haven't found the car glass repair kit without ordering it from UK or Germany, anybody knows where to get it locally?
