Visa extension and Internship

Hi,

I am in Finland on student visa. How much time I can do internship in other European country? Is it legal?

Can I do internship for more than one year lets say in Denmark or Germany? Would it effect my visa extension process?

You are on a student residence permit, not a visa. You can only travel to other European countries as a tourist for up to 90 days. If you do a long internship in another EU country, you apply for a residence permit from the embassy of that country in Helsinki.

@betelgeuse : Of course, I have visa of that country but my question is about extension in Finland? Is there any rule that if I have residence permit of Finland then I cannot spend more time out of Finland?

What if I go to Finland and apply my extension there. I have went to Finland many times for my academic activities like exam , project work. I am actively doing school credits too. Please tell me about it.

@roger_roger : And, as I am doing internship in other country(Germany) so my visa type is as student here.
