Hi,
I have tried tons of lights from ikea and classohlson but every damn light I buy is giving yellowish light. I am looking for a proper white bright light but can't find one. Any suggestions?
Where to find proper bright white light bulb?

Re: Where to find proper bright white light bulb?
Are you looking at the color temperature on the box before you buy?
Traditional incandescent temperature (the one you hate) is around 2700K.
Natural daylight, which is actually quite bluish, is around around 6500K, depending on the directness. That's also the bluest standard, non-colored bulb you are likely to find. Bulbs as low as 5000K may still be called daylight(ish) in character or name.
It won't matter where you buy if you're looking at the right parameter. In general, the warmer, low-temperature bulbs are interpreted as a sign of better hospitality and the bluest bulbs are considered the cheapest and most industrial and found in the worst hotels and restaurants.
I don't know the Finnish names these days, but the standard American labels are quite deceptive. "Soft white" (2700) is the yellowest while "warm white" (3500-4000) is markedly bluer, i.e. "cooler" in photographic parlance. There is some trending away from "warm white" to "bright white," which is also a misnomer (brightness is lumens, not temperature) but we live in an ignorant age.

As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

Try a hardware store like Bauhaus, K-Rauta, Biltema, etc or even Stockmann (city centre) or big supermarkets like Prisma.
