extension of residence permit

My husband has come to Finland last year based on family ties and recently he applied for his permit extension. He is already a part of integration program and going to language school. But the situation right now is so that I am in negotiation with my employer and there is a chance that I may loose my job. I have checked in immigration website and it says you should notify if there is change in application grounds (divorce or newborn child) but since the application ground is still family ties, does me being employed or not be a problem and should immigration be informed if my employment status change?

If they did not clearly to ask to tell about change in your employment (you ability to support him) then I don't see why you should update your application regarding it.
