Hi! I like to do astrophotography. However, Helsinki has too much light pollution for this. Therefore, I'm looking for places I can drive to (and preferably set up a tent) that are easy to reach by car (as I have 60kg of equipment).
I know of Nuuksio, but the trees tend to get in the way when taking pictures of stars
Thanks a lot!
Places around Helsinki to camp, reachable by car

According to that map I'd go to Luhanka for astrophotography. Maybe Kainuu, but that would at least triple the travel time. Pollux arranges star gazing trips to Porkkala, so I suppose there the skies are already dark enough.

You could try Oittaa, don't know about the light pollution there.
If god would give us the source code, we could change the world
