Anyone fancy a pint in Jyvaskyla??

Hi, i'm moving to Jyvaskyla at the beginning of August to study for a 2 year Master's degree, and obviously don't know anyone, so if anyone else is in the same boat, or happens to be in the area, then it'd be great to have a drinking partner. Also, does anyone know if i need any kind of adaptor to connect my laptop to the internet in Finland?

Hi! Don't worry, you won't be alone, there's lots of people in the same situation, and the orientation process is excellent - you'll quickly meet people, both finns and foreigners.
For the laptop, you just need an ethernet cable, all KOAS and Kortepohja student apartments have ethernet broadband, included in the rent.
