Could anybody tell me what the equivalents of the names Alfred and Bernard in Finnish are; if there are such, of course. Thank you in advance for you answers.

I believe there are no equivalents..
I'm not big fan of the that idea anyway. The idea that most names would have translations. John-Jan-Juan-Jussi.. etc. I think they're just different names, even if they happen to have a common etymology going back 3000 years.

Alfred would be Alfred. Or maybe Alvi if you push it, but Alfred.
Bernard... hmmm... I'd say Pertti but thats been derived of Bartholomeus/Bertil.
