Feh, none of those even requires "sisu". At least you *have* people, and the opportunities in the tropical climate south of Ring III are astrological as compared to some Nowheremäki, say up north where you have sunset one evening after a 45-minute day and a sunrise next week or you get the HS Nyt-supplement go dig you up as the "only foreigner in the county" as they did to that yank in the archipelago...

Then again I'd leave right yesterday if I had the money :lol:

Since Ive only lived in the tropics of the south and know nothing of sitting around drinking pontika and eating sillaka in my underwear while drying poro jerky in the sauna, I will in future refrain from asking such a silly question.

I'd like to hear the reason too.

Don't think, read ;) http://www.uvi.fi => families

Family members of Finnish citizens and non-EU citizens and equivalent persons include the following: ·
spouse
registered partner
cohabitant...

Spouse or registered partner

A spouse may be granted a residence permit on the basis of family ties. A marriage certificate must be presented as proof of the marriage. The marriage must also be registered in Finland.

Persons of the same sex who have registered their partnership are considered spouses.

After releasing this information, does this mean now *I* need to worry about the hairy-handed beach boys in Marmaris... before it was only women who were in trouble - I had carpet salesmen to worry about only... :lol:

Uhm.. (How to put this nicely..) Ah, Hank, I really don't think you'll have anything to worry about. I mean really. :P
