Yes, bring the cooker. It's not a problem.

Post by Megstertex » Sun Mar 11, 2007 8:32 am

so, Saturday, 3/17, at 4 pm?

would anyone mind private messaging me an address or easiest way to get there via public transportation holding a casserole dish? I live in Munkkiniemi, and I'm guessing this shindig is in Espoo....

Gracias por su ayuda, Meghan

I've PMd my address to everyone who needs it. If I didn't send it, it's because you've been here before and I'm pretty sure you know how to find your way back.

Looking forward to it!

I'm also making some of that killer chili con queso we Texans are so fond of. Mmm, processed cheese food.

Enjoy!
I've been enjoying this blog. It's funny how just about everything written could apply to me. I do make the annual drive between Dallas and Austin and a stop in West for kolaches is a must. As for chicken fried steak, I absolutely agree!

To confirm

Post by Megstertex » Fri Mar 16, 2007 2:00 pm

Aaagh. Okay, I messed up. I am having a housewarming party starting at 7:30 on Saturday.

So, I hate to be a rude party pooper, but is it okay if I come at 4, WITH 7 layer dip, and GUAC, and CHIPS, but unfortunately, no prickly pear margaritas, my box of contraband is stuck in customs.

Would it be socially unacceptable if I made an early exit? I was thinking for the longest time that this was on the 18th, I'm sorry. I DO MAKE A MEAN GUACAMOLE though, if that helps.

I should add that my salsa will be kid and people safe - your lips won't burn off. I've withheld the Jalapenos. It's killer for taste, not heat. :)

Tortilla chips are at Karen's. I got just the plain ones.
And a bush of cilantro, got it just in case someone gets into a panic.

BTW "drinks" in this case means soft drinks/soda/pop and sparkly water. Got some pear cider that is the 'juice kind' as well. However if you expect the margaritas not to be virginal, there is no te kill ya with or without a worm in the bottle included in "drinks". I found religion
Cheers, Hank W.
