I read that the Finns are the largest coffee consumers in the world, "Great!" says I it will be easy to find a good cup o' Joe over here, however, much to my surprise I have found it really difficult to find a good cup of coffee. There is instant swill, and anything at the good coffee shops I have to pay an arm and a leg for. In the states there were in every city a shop devoted exclusively to various gourmet beans and their sundry paraphernalia. Over here, I haven’t found one yet.
So my question to the masses is, Where on earth can you find a decent bag of coffee in Helsinki. Are there stores that specialize in good imported whole or ground beans? Ive tried that Kulta stuff and there is something that just doesn't jive with me with that roast. And after an Easter with some friends I will DEFINITALLY not drink any more Swedish coffee anymore. Can anyone help this Java junkie?
