So whats wrong in me saying the system sucks? If it does? How does your salary as a social worker reflect your education? Or the nurses' salaries? Nothing wrong? Yeah, Finland is a paradise on bloody earth.

Sadly not, I was a city boy from urban wasteland estate, I kick, bit and fought my way out and pulled the plug as I left.

Wages are !"#¤%, of course I would get better wages in the UK, but I couldn't have a house in the countryside.

There is no debate here, you have a belief or a truth which you stick to like glue, never changing. That is not dialoge or debate, it is just dogma.

which is that everyone has a right to know what they're up against. Not everyone wants to move to buttfukkylä and raise sheep, even if some city boy from the UK has managed to do that.

Some might actually live among civilization in a city with electricity and running water and make decent money (in Finnish scale), but they need to know the facts.

No wonder they kicked you out of the UK, you can't even spell English...

priseless, dialoge.... strokes your ego when for once you speak better English than the people around you (who only studied it since they were 9).

and before you start calling people wotever sheep
F*KIN idiots dont understand that there are some of us here who are pretty influential and can help these idiotic *ckers until they start thinkin with their a*rses..
This country is soo small that these stupid idiotic F*ckers dont realize that they have to run into people who knows people who have blacklisted them...
Seems like they want to wear their rose f*ckin colored glasses..even when lookin into a glass of red wine..

So how come it's mostly the Finns telling all the negative things that might happen given that they haven't actually experienced it. Where are all these poor depressed foreigners telling people not to come?

It's funny, but I know a fair few people who have lived and worked here for many years and most of them still can't string together a conversation in Finnish. The ones that do speak are those that have had to in order to get a job. Those that didn't manage either of these two routes left, so WTF is the problem?

I'm less tired of your clueless barstads then I am of the effing -ve Finns who, no matter how many foreign friends they have, won't ever understand what it's like.

So please, feel free to babysit their intro into Finnish life. You don't
seem to answer many questions that they have though. Why not?

No Trav, jokos osaat suomea? Ja onneksi olkoon, olet
suomalaistunut niin paljon, että olet jo vihainen perusnegatiivinen.
Sehän on mahtava saavutus!

Avioliiton pituudella ei ole mitään tekemistä asian kanssa,
esim. olin naimisissa 13 vuotta.

One voice in the sh1tstorm of negativity? Saying the same thing over and over? Na. don't have the time mate. I might answer the odd obscure question that's never been asked, but as for the common ones - the muppets can use the search. Indeed, somone with half a brain once wrote it all done on a couple of pages of A4 - there's not that much essential stuff

Besides, who would want babysat as they embarked on a grand new adventure? Life would be particularly bland and boring if one didn't make mistakes. Sure, some pointers are good now-and-then, but not all the time. This place (and its predecessor) didn't exist when I came here, sure they might have helped me save some time, but there are other ways to work things out.

Well that's the whole damn point of the whole convo. The muppets can't
be arsed to do it themselves and then get upset when someone tells
them that life isn't all KELA standing on the street corner handing
out money and just cuz they're native English speakers doesn't mean
they're gonna get a job.

As my mom said when I was little: if you're not going to do something
about it, don't criticize the way someone else is going about

So u wanna come to Finland and blame the Finns for being negative no matter what percentage they represent...
Thats F*cking ridiculous considering that *you* ( and those who dont make an effort to understand the culture) are the F*ckin foreigner trying to fit in here and not the Finns welcoming anyone with open arms...not that they wouldn't do..but then..ther eis a limit..
If you move to Sweden you are an alien no matter what unless you start sepakin Swedish Fluently ( what they dont tell you is how fluently but by less than 2 years)
Mook Logic...
