I just wanna thank all the participants for giving me the opportunity to join this dinner. Great food and great company.

Karen: thanks for the tip, duly noted... :D

There was only one problem... too much food... luckily I was able to pace myself.. :D

Thanks again...

Till next time.

It was a lot of fun and well worth the drive.

mCowboy: I'm more than willing to test again. :D

Cowboy, did you take the scenic route just to show off your 4WD?

Anyhow, it was great - I don't need to think about cooking for the rest of the week, except need to try making the chili.

BTW saw two foxes scurrying across the road driving home, wild west ;)
Cheers, Hank W.

I used a navigator with the quickest route... Anywho it was a quick ride back, since there was hardly any traffic on the way back...

We almost ran over a rabbit... almost had rabbit for dinner today.

We had a quick trip, too. Reino fell asleep in the car, so it was quiet most of
the way, too. He had a great time, but he's a little too Finnish at times.
I asked him if he had a great time and he said that he did, but..."It's not
good to have a great time because you might have nightmares about the great time."

Had a great time..
Though I just checked my personal mobile and found those SMS's,,
Those nasty folx dont forward SMS's like they forward teleohone calls (   ). So Sorry I didnt check my mobile for SMSs.
We all had a great time and the kids went to bed late..but no issues..
We made up for time and yeah!! No cooking for a couple of days..
DD said she had a v. good time..and didnt wanna stop..Lol
So Hank, Did ya take the scenic route..
I mentioned specifically not to take that (scenic) route..It's really really curvy as it goes through many farmlands... ( only 1KM shorter but very slow)
Hmm Mebbe we should start making plans for another one now so we re all at least ready for that day!!

Nope, I was tailing Cowboy, but then he continued straight when I started seeing weird places, so I made an U-turn and got myself to the big road the way I knew. Didn't want to chance loosing him and being in a weird intersection ;)

You would prefer to eat Finnish food once you arrive here? You'll get tired of that quickly.
