Maybe complaining about dark and cold winters. As if Finland would be the only one country in the world with cold winters.
If I recall, Helsinki is the world's most northern capital and has a very high percentage of the world's population above 60 degrees.
So when the weather is as it has been for a fair number of years now, it means the weather is crap
and we're IN THE DARK most of the day.
That doesn't explain the bad summers too well though. Just have to really value the few sunny days there are. And keep your passport valid!

Oh boy! Do you do something else for the climate changes apart from complaining?
Pack your family and move somewhere else and be happy. I'm saying this in a way I hope you understand. I mean, I really understand if you're not happy here. There were times when I was not happy where I was living. I was just like you, just complaining. One day I became wise and realized the place was not going to change for me. I had to change, accept or move. I moved. My life changed. I changed. Since then, I moved many, many times and never stay in a place if I don't like it. I do whatever it takes to move. Once I lived in a place where the weather was 40C+ in the morning. I felt like chicken in the oven. I felt there was no oxygen in the air. I moved.
Think about it. Talk to your family. Study the map, work options, school options for the kids, make a plan, set a date. It's not easy but it's not impossible either. MOVE! and be happy.
Consider doing something for the weather changes so your grandchildren can play with snow balls instead of just listening to their grandpa telling stories of the white Christmas he remembers from the days he was younger.
