Y Ours were mint Pop Tarts, so they were green and looked, from the outside, vaguely something like

I will read the labels as I am eating my Pop tarts. Hell I can't pronounce most of that stuff. But "it don't matter to me".
Expensive stuff but a splurge every once in a while isn't so bad. It might have absolutely zero nutritional value and a shelf life that is suspect but it is a piece of home for me.

And yeah, the reason they are called 'Pop Tarts' is because they pop up out of a toaster.

Which is also why some people refer to the chickadees that pop out of cakes

yeah that reminds me of asking my SO to get 4 bottles of the American BBQ sauce and almost choked myself when I found out that the price of each is €8.5

I had to make a quick sortie into Vantaa today (normally I try to steer clear of the place, as it's full of shady foreigners and policemen tailing them), and found myself lured into the Sony shop in Jumbo on the way home, and then into Stockmann (a VERY empty Stockmann, BTW - did they make a blunder there?), where they ALSO seem to have American products for sale, including Pepperidge Farm soft-baked oatmeal cranberry cookies, which my daughter (late of NYC) seemed to think were rather scrumptious.

Many other products in the mayo/barbecue sauce product sector.

Best one, though was, the Post Selects Blueberry Morning cereal, if only for the delightful labelling:

"Naturally and Artificially Flavored" "Enlarged to show texture"

Thanks for sharing. And thanks for a Nutrition Facts label so long I really would need a month of Sunday breakfasts to read it all.

It's just some foods take more burning off than others.

There is an American section in CM Iso-Omena. Some of it is displayed between the nappies and the fruit 'n' veg and some is closer to the fruit 'n' veg on the end of one of the main aisles and then there's some more near the fish counter. I remember marshmallows and root beer, peanut butter and stuff in plastic bottles. And the Ben and Jerry's is down with the ice cream.

They also have American cheescakes around some frozen stuff, don't remember the name but quite OK and full of calories.

They used to have Dr Pepper cherry vanilla also but I haven't seen it there in a while, I like it so much.
