Im a big fan of the UFC, Pride, K1, anything out of Thailand (except the staged bar fights...guys gotta feed babies whatcha' gonna do?) im encouraged by the support its garnering stateside and in the UK. but really, CBS' coverage of the Kimbo+Thompson fight was shameful. Thompson took a canvas nap his last four outings and Kimbo showed up looking out of shape and definitely out of his element. Im thinking EliteXC should quickly go under and Affliction Banned get a little better coverage than it has. Seeing Gina Carano submitting a ground & pound specialist was a thrill to see. You can bet the likes of Tonya and Kaitlyn Young are training hard and watching Gina's fight tapes to see what went wrong. I look forward to rematches from both.
