A vegetarian eating sushi, sounds fishy to me. I'm a vegetarian, have no problem getting vege food, just have to use your imagination.

I use to know a Jewish anarchist vegan guy when I first moved to Finland, he didn't have a problem with getting food here, but your tastebuds will adapt, whenever I go back to Britain I take coffee and bread with me, even got use to the cheese here, the vege sausages here are made in Israel, I think they're a bit bland myself, but my daughter likes them.

You may find some tips/contacts on this site.
