Sometimes when you screw up it costs money.
You screwed up, now pay the damn bill!

You better open you eyes and read the posts before putting your stupid ideeas here.Tiwaz wrote:Out of curiosity OP... When you ordered furniture did you bother to read the terms of contract for cancelling order?
Let me guess... Not. You did this oft mentioned "think" stuff where you "think" that if you cancel and the order is below level which you "think" is limit for collecting payment for cancel there is no bill.
You were wrong. You failed to read terms of deliver etc. Suck it up and pay. That company would not have forwarded this case to IJ if they did not think they had good case.
Before ordering... Read terms of delivery. If you think you understood them, read them again. If you did not understand them, ask someone to explain.
Here you are again idiot doing all that stupid thinking.eyeonyou wrote: You better open you eyes and read the posts before putting your stupid ideeas here.
I already told that there where no contract signed, so no penalties for cancelling signed by me or told to me, at least.
9 The order contract
An order contract is established between Entre and the client when Entre has received the client’s order and has responded with a confirmation of the order. However, if Entre has approached the client with a written tender, a contract is established when the client accepts the tender in writing.
If the client cancels the order after an order contract has been established, or if the supplier revokes the contract on the basis of the client's non-adherence to the contract, the client is liable to fully compensate Entre for any expenses incurred by the client, such as in the following: space rental, stand design and construction, travel and accommodation, marketing strategy and materials, possible additional subcontracting fees and Entre’s labor.
Depends on lawyer and how much stuff costs for the winning party, which most likely is not going to be you.My queston where simple on this post:
1. costs to go on court
Companies who do not want idiots bothering their employees with screaming "I AM NOT PAYING".2. what serious company is shame to show their contact persons? If I contact the company I have to talk with company walls? If they have any
I would guess, that this whole thing is not much trouble for the original company, just normal process... and you know how hard it can be to alter the process after it has begun. They probably have outsourced whole process after the initial sale to IJ, which sends first invoice on behalf of original company and after that use their own name as scare tactics.sinikettu wrote:It is not easy to see why the company who the OP ordered the goods from is taking so much trouble over such a small debt. Or is it all as the OP says?
The OP ordered some goods and then cancelled the order.
we already told you taht a verbal contract is binding in Finland, and as for what comes to their penalties for cancelling they usually are available - your own problem if you don't read them.eyeonyou wrote: I already told that there where no contract signed, so no penalties for cancelling signed by me or told to me, at least.
was it 60 or 70 euros to file. of course you need to have the dispute drafted in Finnish... lawyer fees 150 an hour or so. and when you loose you pay the oppomnents legal fees... so I'd say you're chancing about a grand give or take.1. costs to go on court
2. what serious company is shame to show their contact persons?
See:rinso wrote:If they sent you a bill for cancellation costs and you don't pay, they can use a collection bureau.eyeonyou wrote:If you haven't paid a deposit, you can cancel anything you want if the item doesn't cost so much that it will be worth it for the seller to start legal procedings.
If they have a contract with that bureau, they only pay a percentage of the bill. It's a no loose situation for them.
Yes, funny. Ok. Keep laughing. No problems.eyeonyou wrote:Alicia wrote:Intrium Justitia is a big "debt recovery" company. If it has gone that far then it is too far. I have been on the other side and used Intrium to recover for a company I have worked for and they basically rip people to shreads. I don't know what avenue you have, but fix it as quickly as possible. Other debt recovery companies are almost nice compared with this one. I used them once and then ripped up the contract. It was heart breaking to see them work.
I would think that it is best to pay the 140 euros and get out of there! unless you are 100 % in the right. If you are not sure, pay it anyway. I wouldn't mess with them. They read the rules and there are no other options.
You shouldn't have left it so long!!! 11 months is 10 months too long!
HA HA HA !!!
You where funny: "It was heart breaking to see them work"It seems that you live in Wild Wild West
At the end of the day, those people who were so "badly" treated brought it upon themselves.Alicia wrote:
